Huntsman China needed
a world-class brand identity for Azaplus, their breakthrough yarn technology
that creates a true closed-loop system—recycled polyester that can be recycled
again at end-of-life. The brand needed to position Azaplus as the material of
choice for garment manufacturers and apparel brands committed to circular
sustainability without compromising quality or performance.
We researched the
polyester yarn lifecycle and conducted competitive analysis of recycled yarn
producers and emerging technologies. This revealed clear positioning
opportunities for Azaplus's unique closed-loop offering: "tech for
sustainability."
Our design exploration
visualized Azaplus's redefined sustainability cycle, developing multiple visual
systems paired with custom typography that conveyed both sophistication and
technical credibility.
We positioned Azaplus
as "tech for sustainability"—emphasizing how advanced technology
enables brands' sustainability commitments. This insight informed every design
decision.
The final logo
features two interwoven loops that dynamically connect, symbolizing the
closed-loop cycle. The color palette combines vibrant, nature-inspired tones
that communicate both technological innovation and environmental
responsibility.
